Why Sentinel
No scare tactics. A photo and a written price.
We won't tell you your building is one spark from disaster. Most of the time it isn't. We tell you what's required, when it's due, and what it costs. This page is the list of things you can hold us to.
What you can hold us to
How we work, in writing
The usual complaints about fire protection vendors are a bill nobody expected and a repair nobody can verify. Each of these is our answer to one of them.
A photo and a written price for every problem
If we write something up, you see what we saw: a photo, the code section it falls under, and what it costs to fix. You never get a quote for a problem you can't see.
Nothing fixed without your written OK
The inspection is the inspection. Repairs wait until you approve them, one line at a time. Decline one and it stays on the report as an open item.
Second opinions welcome
Take our report to another vendor. And if you're holding someone else's quote and the number looks high, send it to us. We review it free and tell you if we'd write up the same items.
One lead tech who knows your buildings
The same person leads every visit. Nobody has to be shown where the riser room is twice, and you have a name to ask for.
Our own techs, no subcontractors
Everyone who shows up works for Sentinel. We don't sign the contract and hand the work to another company.
Flat per-device pricing
You get the price per extinguisher, per device, and per riser before we come out. There are no fuel surcharges and no trip surcharges, so the invoice matches the quote.
NICET-certified technicians
Every truck has a NICET-certified technician on it, and the report carries the name of the person who did the work.
Reports ready for the fire marshal or your insurer
Every visit ends with a digital report filed against its due date. When someone asks for it, you send a link.
What that looks like
One line from a sample report
This is one item from a sample deficiency report. The photo shows what the tech saw, the badge is the code section, and the price is the price. If something can wait until the next visit, the report says so.

Why property managers call us first
We take it seriously, because it is serious.
Taking it seriously means certified people doing exact work and paperwork that holds up when someone asks for it. And if you don't need a repair, we say so.
