Storm to repair
The storm-to-repair process
Active leaks go to the front of the line. Everything else gets a same-day photo report.
Call or text
Tell us the address and what you're seeing. We prioritize active leaks.
Inspection and photos
We check every slope and mark damage, then send you a photo report the same day.
Insurance, if it makes sense
If the damage supports a claim, you file it and we provide the documentation. We can meet your adjuster.
Repair or replace
Once you approve the scope, we schedule the work and keep you updated by text.
What to look for
Signs of storm damage to look for
Hail bruises
Dark round spots where granules were knocked off. Often easier to spot on gutters and vents first.
Lifted or missing shingles
High winds break the seal strip. Look for shingles on the lawn or flapping edges.
Dented metal
Dents in gutters, downspouts and AC fins are a good sign the roof took hits too.

Storm season in the tri-county area
Hail damage rarely leaks right away, which is why a dated inspection matters. Read more in our post on what to check from the ground.
Common questions
Will my insurance pay for hail damage?
Many homeowner policies cover sudden storm and hail damage, but every policy is different. We document the damage with photos and measurements; your insurance company decides what is covered.
Should I call my insurance company or a roofer first?
Call us for a free inspection first if you can. That way you know whether there is enough damage to file a claim before you open one.
Can you tarp my roof tonight?
If there is an active leak, call (555) 012-7781. During storm season we keep a crew on call for emergency tarping, usually the same day.
How long do I have to file a claim?
Deadlines vary by policy, often one to two years after the storm. Check your policy or ask your agent, and do not wait for a leak to show up inside.
